Fixed Rate Bond Auto-renewal

To check your current auto-renewal status and make amends, follow these four steps:

  1. User ID (this was emailed to you on account opening but if you can't find it, contact our customer service team)

  2. Passcode (new passcodes can be requested by using the 'Forgotten passcode' link on the Online Banking log in page)

  3. Authenticator device (mobile phone with the Cynergy Bank installed, or your Digipass).

Read for help logging into Online Banking, using the Authenticator App and Digipass.

  1. Look for the My accounts section and click on your Fixed Rate Bond account number.

  2. Make your changes in the box labelled Amend Automatic Renewal Status and review them.

  3. Press Submit to confirm your change.

Mobile Banking App

  1. Once registered for the app, you will need to select your Fixed Rate Bond due to mature.

  2. Select ‘Maturity Instructions’ on the drop down list.

  3. Complete the options available and ‘Confirm details’ once you are happy with your choice.


This process can be completed as many times as you like up until the morning of maturity.

Investing a different amount

If you would like to reinvest a different amount, you can supply your maturity instructions in advance within the Mobile Banking app. This will provide you with the option to change your term and detail how much you would like to withdraw on maturity.

At present, this option is not available within Online Banking but we are continually working to improve our products and services and hope to be able to update you in the near future.

If you wish to withdraw a partial amount during the funding window, you will need to close your Bond and re-apply with your new deposit amount.

What happens if you choose NOT to auto-renew

If you choose not to auto-renew, your funds will remain within your account and earn the post-maturity variable rate of 1.00% until you decide what you would like to do.
