Property investment loans
We can arrange funding for the purchase or refinance of residential properties, also known as buy-to-let, and on a variety of mixed-use and commercial properties.
Buy-to-let funding is generally available for up to 65% of the value of the property, on a repayment or short-term interest-only basis, or with partial capital repayments. For commercial properties, investment funding is typically available for up to 55% Loan to Value (LTV) on terms of up to 10 years. Interest rates are offered depending on the quality of the covenant interest cover, LTV and duration of the facility.

Property development loans
We can also arrange loans to buy and develop properties.
These loans are repayable as a lump sum after the fully developed property has been sold or refinanced. In some circumstances, we may be able to capitalise interest. The typical loan will usually not exceed two years. Other terms including pricing and LTV are dependent upon the size and nature of the development.

Buy-to-let
If you’re purchasing or refinancing residential investment property, ask your relationship manager about a buy-to-let mortgage.
The term of this mortgage can be for up to 10 years. At the Bank's discretion, loans may be granted with a partial capital repayment schedule, with the balance to be repaid upon maturity (for example, where a loan is granted for a term of ten years but repayments are calculated over 20 years).
