Eligibility
You need to be registered in the UK and be eligible to pay UK tax.
You need to be a partnership, limited liability partnership (LLP) or limited company. If you are a sole trader, you must be a UK resident and only a tax resident in the UK. If you are a limited liability partnership (LLP) or a limited company, at least one person of significant control must be a UK resident and only a tax resident in the UK.
Your business must have a maximum of 10 directors. Any individual who is a person of significant control and anyone you appoint as a user for your account must be aged 18 or over and not be a US citizen.
Important note about suitability
When you have a fixed term, this means you have agreed to keep your money in an account with us for a fixed period of time. You won't be able to close your account or take any money out during the fixed period of time we agreed.
Business Fixed Rate Bond is not suitable if you anticipate needing immediate access to your money.
FSCS-protected
Eligible deposits are protected up to a total of £120,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK's deposit guarantee scheme.
What you'll need to apply
You can apply in as little as 15 minutes but if you need more time you can save your application and come back to it later. Please have the following things ready when applying:
Your email address.
A UK mobile phone number.
Photo ID.
A device with a camera.
Email addresses and phone numbers of any additional signatories you wish to add to the account. These details must be different to yours. Please note, that in order to apply you must add all ultimate beneficial owners with 10%, or greater ownership of the business.

Business Fixed Rate Bond is not available to non-UK businesses. It is also not available to sole traders, charities, trusts, clubs or societies. We do not accept client money or accounts held in trust.
