Deadline extension to set your debit card password by 25 November 2021 to continue purchasing Online.

From 25 November when making purchases online using your debit card you will need to enter a password in addition to receiving a One Time Passcode (OTP).

If a password is not set you will be unable to make online purchases after 25 November 2021 using your debit card. 

We are making this change in line with recent regulatory updates to improve security and help protect you and your money.

To prepare for this change we have now included the facility in Online Banking to set up your debit card password.  There is a new menu item ‘Debit Card’ and you will find the debit card password option in this menu.

Log in to Online Banking and create your debit card password

If you are not a user of Online Banking then you will need to register and set up a password if you want to continue to use your debit card online.

You will not be affected by these changes if you do not currently have a debit card with us.
