New regulations have been adopted under the revised Payment Services Directive (PSD2) which will enhance the security of online debit card transactions to help protect you and your money and reduce fraud. These changes are referred to as “Strong Customer Authentication” or “SCA”.  From June 2021 as a result of these changes, you may need to authenticate online debit card transactions with an additional password, so we know it’s actually you.

You do not need to take any action at this time, we will be contacting you directly over the coming weeks to let you know what you need to do to set up a password and start using it.

You will not be affected by these changes if you do not currently have a debit card with us.
