Last night, Bank of Cyprus UK welcomed local students from Croydon to display some of their artwork.
Pupils from Archbishop Tenison's CE School showcased 28 art pieces at an evening exhibition at the bank's Croydon office. The event was enjoyed by students, parents, Bank staff and teachers alike.
The showcase comes as part of an on-going commitment by Bank of Cyprus UK to strengthen ties with the local community and support local residents. This year Bank of Cyprus UK marks 60 years of service in the UK and continues to be supporter and sponsor of schools in the surrounding areas. A-level and GCSE students display their artwork on a rotational basis each academic year at the Bank’s offices.
David Cooper, Senior Banking Manager at Bank of Cyprus UK, commented: “We take great pride in our commitment to supporting communities local to our offices and the latest Archbishop Tenison's CE School exhibition at the Croydon office is one of the best shows of talent yet. We hope to continue growing the relationship we have with this school and others in the local area.”
Richard Parrish, Head of Archbishop Tenison’s CE School, said: “We are thrilled to be able to continue this partnership with Bank of Cyprus UK which allows our pupils’ work to be displayed so impressively at their offices. It’s a great show of community camaraderie and we hope this partnership continues.”
