Bank of Cyprus UK last night opened its doors to display some of the finest artwork from students at Ashmole Academy.
The evening showcase comes as part of Bank of Cyprus UK’s continued commitment to support local communities and residents near to where its operations are based. Bank of Cyprus UK provides support to local schools by displaying the artwork of A Level and GCSE students on a rotational basis each academic year.
The students showcased 58 pieces of art at an evening exhibition at the bank’s North London office, with an audience composed of students and their parents as well as teachers and staff who were welcomed by Assistant Chief Executive, Soteris Antoniades.
Soteris Antoniades, Bank of Cyprus UK, commented: “Bank of Cyprus UK has been committed to supporting communities local to our offices for many years. We take pride in the fact we provide a platform for local children to showcase their artistic talents and will continue to do so in the future.”
Derrick Brown, Head of Ashmole Academy, said: “We value our relationship with Bank of Cyprus UK; this exhibition is a great opportunity for students to be able to showcase their talents. We thank Bank of Cyprus UK for giving them the opportunity to display their artwork and for hosting an enjoyable reception for students, parents and staff.”
