About us

Founded in 1955, Cynergy Bank is a standalone UK bank with its own Board of Directors and ring-fenced capital and liquidity. As a UK bank, we are a member of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. We are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority.

We look after our savers by offering consistently attractive and competitive rates of interest on our deposit products, and use this money to lend to enterprising business owners in the UK.

We focus on four business areas:

• Savings – a competitive range of products to meet the personal needs of business customers and savers.

• Property Finance – focusing on the property investment needs of business owners and property entrepreneurs in the UK.

• Residential Mortgages – a range of flexible and competitively priced mortgage products, individually underwritten by our experienced underwriting team.

• Business & Commercial Banking – a range of products and services to meet the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs, helping them grow their business by managing risk, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Our aim is to develop strong relationships with our intermediaries and customers, ensuring they are in good hands with knowledgeable, experienced managers and teams. Our lending model empowers our managers with the flexibility and authority to make individually underwritten lending decisions.
